The Purpose of Registration is to keep our files up to date with correct information, ensuring the data we provide is accurate and in compliance with Wyoming State Statutes. This information includes contacts, well counts, well statuses, operator and group assignments.

Form 1

Mineral Taxpayer

Registration/Change Form

​

This form will need to be filled out if your company is new or a contact change is taking place.

​

Form 3

​

Well Status Notification and Grouping Request Form.

​

This form will need to be filled out if you have a change of operator, change of well status, new group, addition to existing group or existing well group reassignment.

First step:

Register as a taxpayer by submitting a completed Form 1 to our department

Second step:

Submit a completed Form 3 to our department

Forms 1 & 3 may be emailed (preferred) to James.miller3@wyo.gov, faxed to 307-777-7849, or mailed to Wyoming Department of Revenue, Mineral Tax Division, 122 W. 25th St., Cheyenne, WY 82002-0110.

Last step:

To file electronically, submit a completed Wyoming Internet Filing Service Electronic Filing Agreement (WYIFS) if desired.
