Let’s Talk Trash, Tahoe/Truckee!

Our mission is to create a shift toward environmentally conscious trash practices within the waterways and lakeside recreation areas of the Tahoe/Truckee region. We will collaborate with locals, businesses, visitors and educators to establish:

  • Frequent organized cleanup events throughout the year
  • Commitment to a community pledge to reduce unnecessary waste
  • Habitual practices that keep our treasured areas clean for generations
