Online learning is more effective than in person learning in high school
Will there be a focus on certain platforms used for online learning?
Can you be more focused on your variables? What does effective mean? How will this be measured?
Who will you be looking at specifically? Urban, suburban, or rural students? Students learning in a single child household? Students with siblings? There are many variables to consider that should be addressed in your question.
What will be considered effective? SAT scores? State test scores?
Is this a question?
Isn’t it already biased?
Will you focus on a particular demographic? I.e. urban vs. rural, high income vs. low income, students with or without special needs, etc.
How will you the term effective? Effective in community building? Effective in adolescent social development?
I fear that this question already has an implicit bias…. Perhaps rewording to see which method is more effective for a specific demographic?
How has increased racial representation in Southern- style cookbooks published from 2010-2020 changed the historical understanding of southern food history. (help!)
What constitutes “southern food?” Will you focus on specific recipes?
Why eliminate blogs, websites, food channel shows, etc.? Could you include these since we are a multi-media societ“
I wonder if using the term culture vs race might be more appropriate?
Is the assumption that the idea of what constitutes southern food has evolved in the past 10 years?
What are some of the factors that contributed to this evolution?
Which races?
Southern food history seems broad, how will you approach this in your research? Could you focus on a particular region?
How will you determine racial representation?
What are the long-term effects of positive family interactions during jail time on the employment rate of former inmates at federal prisons?
Narrow down the area for greater feasibility. *’long-term’ is an indeterminate time frame; 1 year? 2 years? I think it would benefit from stricter parameters
Will you be able to measure long-term effects within the time frame?
In terms of long term effect, are you looking at recidivism, maintaining gainful employment, etc? Do these effects need to be determined ahead of time to measure one group against another (those with positive family interactions with those without)
How is positive family interaction defined?
*Felonious inmates? Inmates that are jailed for non-violent crimes (drugs)?
Jail time of who?
Will the crime the person committed/accused of committing play a role in your research?
What types of crimes
Way too broad. Pick a gender or age-range to help narrow.
Does the data already exist and you are studying it? What does “positive family interactions” look like? Is there a specific sub-group of inmates? (Mothers, fathers, married, etc?)
What are the health impacts of people living in the town of Bethpage due to the toxic bloom from the Grumman’s Aerospace site?
Revised: How has the toxic bloom from the Grummans Aerospace site negatively impacted the health of women in the town of Bethpage from 1965-present?

Narrow down the impact to something that can be directly related to the site
Is it a particular part of Bethpage?.
Do low scoring standardized tests accurately predict college success?
Factoring in of those who have test anxieties?
How did emergent Enlightenment scientia (expanding worldviews; development of scientific and empirical methods of inquiry; a rejection of institutional dogma) alter the British public’s engagement with art at the British Museum in the eighteenth century?
Provide peer feedback here - practice your questioning technique!
Is there documentation of this museum engagement? Primary sources? Museum records? Does data exist?
I wonder if scientia is too broad--could you specify it to JUST the rejection of institutional dogma or another aspect of scientia without losing the heart of your question?
Will you focus on specific art in the British museum? How would this be measured? Do you have a method?
What will you use as a data set/subject set in the research method with this as it is from an older time?
How will you be able to find your data to support this argument?
How might this be more focused?
How does Afrofuturism positively affect a BIPOC student’s sense of belonging at New England boarding schools?

How has a later school start time at four high schools in Northwest Arkansas impacted single-parent households as opposed to two-parent households?
Is there a problem here to begin with?
Revised Q: How has a later school start time at four high schools in Northwest Arkansas impacted low-income single parents’ .... work attendance? Ability to get to work on time? Ability to get students safely to and from school?
When considering the various manifestations of the vampire craze in the early 21st century, what commonly presented elements have been the most impactful for the millennial generation?
How will impact be measured?
Effects of participation in Athletics on Academic Performance (Or College Acceptance Rate) among High School Seniors swimming in water less than 50 degrees effective
Is this a problem?
Does swimming in water less than 50
Degrees have an effect on an athletes legs muscles for the cycling portion of an ironman
This is really interesting. Could you do a comparative study with athletes who have done the Hilo Ironman and some of the cold-water Ironman competitions? Would all of the data then be different as there is presumably a different air temp as well?
What types of people will you use for your research? (age, gender etc)
“Swimming” needs to be defined. For how long? What type of swimming? Vigorous or any time?
What kind of effect are you curious about? Positive? Negative? Faster or slower cycle times?
Are you specifying a gender for this? What would be the implications of that choice?
Are you talking about long-term effects or just during the event itself?
