  • Request a Lit Trip
  • Trip will be emailed to you in a KML format

Click the Add Location button and search for a location or Drop a Placemark

Customize Your Locations

  • You can add up to 25 total photos and videos for students to view when they visit that location
  • Add a start and end date to better describe your location
  • Give a summary about this location
  • Change the icon to describe your location (red is the default)

Change the Sharing Settings to allow people with the link to see your tour!

Export your Tour

  • Export your tour to share with students or other teachers
  • Export as a KML File to play in Google Earth
  • Export as a CSV file to import into Google Maps

Import your Tour

  • After sharing/exporting your tour, the person viewing your tour would then need to Import it into Google Earth
  • This is done the same way as importing a Lit Trip
    • Go to My Places and Import KML File
    • File will appear in your list of My Places
