Are you missing your students? Want to deliver a lesson online synchronously or asynchronously?
In this session we will learn the ins and outs of Google Meet and how to leverage the tool for distance learning. You’ll learn tips for leveraging the tool to create engaging online lessons. The focus will be on synchronous learning.

Pro Tip: Use two devices
Have a second device? Use one device to join with your mic & video (via “Join Now”) and one device to present your screen (via “Present).
Use the second screen to engage in the Google Meet chat and video conversation, particularly if you’re using a Google Slides deck.

Breakout Rooms
Breakout rooms can be done!
At the present time, Meet does not have breakout rooms like you would see in other platforms. However, although it may take a little more time this can be done. Here’s how.
Presenter note: Since this workshop Google has announced that breakout rooms are coming to EDU domains.
