  1. Get to Know Your Course:
    • Review the course details, including expectations, milestones, and terminal assessments.
    • Check the syllabus under the Course Details section to gain a high-level overview of the weekly agenda and tasks.
  2. Dive into Week 1 Topics:
    • Start learning about the Week 1 topics and get an early start on the homeworks. This proactive approach will get you ahead in your learning journing.
  3. Understand Requirements and Submissions Deadlines
    • Go through the requirements, homeworks and submissions; check when these are due and plan around those deadlines.
  4. Plan for Success:
    • Use this time to create a Term Plan. Map out your activities and study times in your calendar early on. This will help you balance your academic responsibilities with personal, family, and work obligations effectively.

As per Article V, Section C, Page 8 of the enclosure to the Department of Education Memorandum No. 3, Series of 2018; otherwise known as the Basic Education Enrollment Policy; all student-applicants will be considered on temporary enrollment until such time that all original documents are submitted.

FROM YOUR PREVIOUS SCHOOL?

Here are the steps to do in order to request for the said document:

    • Secure an MMDC Request Letter for F-137/SF-10 by providing your previous school’s complete name and address to this email - records@mmdc.mcl.edu.ph
    • Submit this letter to your High School/ Senior High School Registrar.
    • In order to avoid repeating this process, kindly emphasize that the remarks in the document should be “Copy for MAPUA Malayan Colleges Laguna
    • After receiving your F-137/SF-10, submit them by sending it via courier to the MMCL’s Registrar’s Office

WHAT IS A

TRANSFER CREDENTIAL PACKAGE?

As a transferee, you are to request transfer credentials from your previous school and it should come as a package of three important documents. It includes the following:

1. Transcript of Records with remarks “for evaluation purposes only” or “copy of grades”

2. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal that includes a cut portion or the Return Slip which will later be used for the requisition of the Official Transcript of Records (Second Copy)

3. Certificate of Good Moral

Note: These documents should be requested as one, they should be a package when submitted to MMDC.

    • Wait for an email or a message from the Records Team for the availability of your signed Return Slip.

    • After receiving your Return Slip, submit this to your last school attended to request for your Official Transcript of Records with remarks “Copy for MAPUA Malayan Colleges Laguna”
    • Ask for the schedule of release of your Official TOR and submit or send it to MMCL’s Registrar’s Office.

NOTES regarding CREDIT EVALUATION FOR TRANSFEREES:

  1. Requests for Credit Evaluation should be submitted during the admission process and completed within the student’s initial term.
  2. Secure a copy of the results of your Request for Credit Evaluation.
  3. For instances when the credits are not yet reflected in the system, ensure not to enroll into these courses. If courses were enrolled by the student, the credit will be forfeited. We will honor the enrollment to the course. These courses will need to be completed with a passing mark.
