Bermuda Triangle Location

There are many differing opinions as to where the location of the Bermuda Triangle is location. However the majority of research suggests that it is located in the Atlantic Ocean and falls between Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Florida. Today we are going to research each of these locations.

Atlantic Ocean

The Atlantic Ocean is the second biggest ocean in the world. It is located between the continents of America, Europe and Africa. Sharks, such as this Thresher Shark swimming in the gulf stream, are found in the waters of the Atlantic. Did you know that the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is the longest mountain range on Earth? It spreads from Iceland to Antarctica beneath the Atlantic.

Bermuda

Bermuda is a cluster of islands located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is a British overseas territory. Bermuda has one main island and 180 smaller islands. The capital city is Hamilton. Bermuda is a popular tourist destination due to the subtorcial climate. The main sights that people visit are the pink sand beaches and and clear blue ocean waters.

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is an island in the Caribbean Sea. It is part of the commonwealth of the United States. This means that is governs itself while still having some ties with the United States. The capital city is San Juan. Puerto Rico is part of the island group called the West Indies. The official languages of Puerto Rico are English and Spanish with Spanish being used the most.

Florida is the 27th State of America. The capital city of Florida is Tallahassee. Florida is also known as the Sunshine State due to getting more sun than any other States in America. Florida is a peninsula that means it's almost completely surrounded by water. Did you know that Dinsey World is located in Florida? This is one of the reasons it is such a popular tourist destination.
