Flexible seating means each student choosing the best place for their learning. Simple as that.

In this class, that means students have a “home desk,” but are able to move whenever working independently. Giving the autonomy to make the best choice for them at that time.

Room 14

It’s a great way to encourage the growth mindset through self-reflection and problem solving.

Choose a SMART seat that helps you do your best work.  Sit where you can listen, learn, hear, and talk.

Use each seat the right way. Share and take turns.

If a spot isn’t working for you, MOVE so that you can do your best. When you do move, do so quickly and quietly.

We are all responsible for our supplies and our environment.  Take care of them.

Flexible seating is a privilege!  Mrs. Render reserves the right to move anyone or change the rules at anytime to best meet the needs of our classroom.
