Ode Poems- When and Who
This form of poetry first emerged in the 17th century.
There are many famous ode poets that wrote this type of poetry but John Keats, Abraham Couley, and Andrew Manell are famous for for their poems.
Ode Poems-Purpose and Quality
The purpose of ode poems are different from other types of poems. There are pindartic ode's,horatain ode's, and irregular ode's. An ode is a poem that is written for an occasion or a particular subject and is a more serious form from others, because the meaning of ode is to sing and chant.
A unique quality of ode poetry is that they are always very dignified. They are also full of singing and chanting, music and dancing. They address an event, person, or a thing.

She makes a difference
By putting her heart up to the world.
Hero to me,

She tells us to plant love and grow peace.
She’s more than just a girl living her dreams.
