IMPORTANT

    • Dual Enrollment is NOT an “extracurricular activity.”
    • You must attend these courses like a regular class in a school day
    • Students must communicate absences with professor via email.

ATTENDENCE

    • You MUST show up for the first two weeks of class
    • Professors can drop students who:
      • Do not attend either of the first 2 class meetings.
      • Have 4 total absences.
      • ***Case-by-case basis***

29 of 48

Important - (FERPA)

    • FERPA protects the school records of students who are over age 18 or who are enrolled in a college course

    • Therefore... Concerns about registration or application must be communicated by the student to the Chabot staff.

    • Once registered - Communication and concerns from parents / guardians about student attendance, grades and behavior must be communicated with site lead
