Today’s Agenda

The next version of your IPF is due next today in the evening EOD (11:59 p.m.); like last week’s deadline, this deadline is not negotiable and we will be checking submissions first thing Tuesday morning.

Requirements:

All questions in the IPF are filled out; questions 1-6 must be answered thoroughly, and the rest need to have at least some information in them.

We will do a robust, thorough peer review of this on the second day of this week for IPF Version 3.0 and the Final Version due 11/8!

Today’s Agenda

  • Today you will be working in pairs providing peer review.:
    • Create a new document; “Your name IPF v3.0”, copy and paste the contents of v2.0 into this file
    • Allow your partner access to your IPF v3.0 and make sure you can see your partners’ file as well. Take a five minutes to read through the document. Type your comments in your partner’s file
    • Provide thorough feedback on the file:
      • Using adjectives (e.g. great job) is not enough
      • Editing feedback (e.g. grammar, spelling, etc.) is not enough
      • is the title, gap, and research question clear?
      • do you understand what the project is trying to answer/obtain and why? are all sections thoroughly answered? how would yo suggest to improve the document
      • Is the methodology articulated clearly? Is it valid? do you understand why it was chosen? if not, how would you suggest to make it better/clearer?
