History Rules and Procedures

  • Bring the following supplies to class daily: pen or a pencil, red grading pen, folder, and spiral/notebook paper.
  • Be in your seat and prepared to start class as soon as the bell rings.
  • Turn in all assignments on time.

One day late= 70 max grade

Two days late= 50 max grade

Three Days late= Zero

  • If absent the student is responsible for acquiring and completing make-up assignments and tests.
  • Water only allowed in clear bottles.
  • Respect the property of others and the school.
  • No phones. Don’t make me be the bad guy
  • No cell phones in the bathroom.
  • Don’t abuse my leniency regarding bathroom trips.

  • All students should remain in their seats during the class period except to throw away trash, turn in assignments, or ask the teacher a question.

  • Do not mill around the door before the bell rings. Stay seated even if we are done with instruction for that day

Grading Policy

  • Daily average will be 40% of the student’s grade. Daily average is comprised of homework, journal, and quiz grades. Journal grades count twice.
  • Test average will be 60% of the student’s grade. Failed test can be remediated to a score no higher than 70.
  • It is YOUR responsibility to set up a time to make up a failed test. This must be done during Enrichment because of my schedule.
