    • Total cost of $48,500 will be split with CRPD

  • Opened High-Rate Savings Account in Name of Westlake Hills Property Owners Association
    • Online Bank: Axos Bank
    • Opening Amount: $6,000 transferred from existing Wells Fargo Savings Account
    • Opening Date: 09/28/26 via ACH transfer
    • Most of the rest of the Wells Fargo Savings Savings funds will be transferred in October
      • A small amount will be kept in Wells Fargo Savings for quick payments if needed
    • Interest Rate: 3.5% - Wells Fargo Savings was paying us 0.01% or $0.48 for September
      • From Sept 28 thru Sept 30 – Axos paid us $1.69
    • Need a motion in minutes designating who else besides Treasurer should have access to the Axos account
      • Suggested Motion: The following Westlake Hills Property Owners Association Officers are authorized to have access to the Axos high-rate savings account #: 200010750384:
        • Linda Spencer – President
        • Una Hart – Secretary
        • Anthony Peter Gitt - Treasurer

Some Owners Paid Annual Fees Twice

  • 59% of owners have paid 2026 annual fee as of September 30, 2026
  • During the September board meeting it was noted that some Owner's have paid their owner’s fee twice this year. The Treasurer noted he was a applying the second payments as a credit for the 2027 Owner’s payment. Another attendee suggested that we treat second payments in the same year as a donation.

  • Either way the board should make a motion on how to handle any Owner’s second payments if made.

 

  • Motion 1: Treat second owners payments in the same fiscal year as a credit for the next fiscal year to the Westlake Hills Property Owners Association

  • Motion 2: Treat second owner’s payments in the same fiscal year as a donation to the Westlake Hills Property Owners Association
