Gained awareness of how the number of sides and angles vary in simple polygons.
Observed and measured geometric shapes in the classroom and environment.
Studied a fictional text, reinterpretted, rewrote and adapted it as an original writing using correct mathematical terms and vocabulary.
Explored careers in designing and building homes and other structures.
Created and designed rooms in a house using 2D and 3D geometric shapes to create wall designs, floor designs and furniture for their space.
Explored the use of triangles to build strong structures.
Created animal designs using only geometric shapes.
Learned how to make tangrams both digitally and with paper and pencil.
Created simple tesselations.
