12 Grade HSBP Instructions

Please get out your computer and log in
Step 1- Logging Into HSBP
Scroll to the bottom of the student home page and click here
Step 2 - Finishing 9th/10th Grade Tasks
You’ll see this completion screen
If it’s not already done, make sure you have completed the Four Year Course Plan and the Interest, Preferences, and Skills surveys. This will unlock the required tasks for 11th & 12th grades.
Step 3 - Finishing 11th Grade Tasks
You’ll see this completion screen
Look to see if these two have a green checkmark next to them. If they do not, click on the title of each and complete the task.
If they are completed, skip to slide 8.
Don’t worry about the rest of 11th grade.
Step 3a – Financial Aid
Click on the speedometer symbol next to Financial Aid, select “Mark Complete”
This will turn the icon orange. That’s good!
Step 3b – Survey of Intervention
Select “Survey of Intervention” and complete the survey. Once complete, return here, click on the speedometer icon, and select “Mark Complete”
Step 4 – 12th Grade!
These five tasks (the ones at the top of the page) are required for graduation.
Let’s walk through each one in order.
Remember, when you finish each one to “Mark Complete”
Step 4a – Career Goals
Select “Add Record”
Step 4a – Career Goals
In each box, follow the blue instructions
Then click “validate.”
Return to the completion screen and “Mark Complete”
Type the name of a job you would like
Enter 3 sentences about why that job interests you.
Enter 3 sentences about how this job would help make your life what you want it to be
Select Grade 12
Step 4 – 12th Grade!
Remember, when you finish each one to “Mark Complete”
Now select “Educational Goals”
Step 4b – Educational Goals
Select “Add Record”

In each box, follow the blue instructions
Then click “validate.”
Return to the completion screen and “Mark Complete”
Type your plan – college, trade school, etc
Select Grade 12
Enter 3 sentences about your school plan. Example: “I plan to study zoology. I will probably get an AA. This will help me get into veterinary school.
Step 4 – 12th Grade!
Remember, when you finish each one to “Mark Complete”
Now select “Graduation Pathway”
Step 4c – Graduation Pathway
Select “Manage” or “Create 4-Year Plan”
If creating a new plan, name the plan, select your 4-year plan title (high school &
graduating class).
Everyone select “Graduation Pathway”
Step 4c – Graduation Pathway
Select the pathway
you are using to graduate. If unsure,
ask for help.
Step 4c – Graduation Pathway
Click on the “Not Locked” button. Return to the “Completion Screen” and “Mark Complete
Step 4 – 12th Grade!
Remember, when you finish each one to “Mark Complete”
Now select “Postsecondary Plan”
Step 4d – Postsecondary Plan
Select “Manage” or “Create 4-Year Plan”
If creating a new plan, name the plan, select your 4-year plan title (high school &
graduating class).
Everyone select “Graduation Pathway”
Step 4 – 12th Grade!
Remember, when you finish each one to “Mark Complete”
Now select “Resume”

In each section, follow the blue instructions
Then click “validate” for each
Update your contact information so a possible employer can contact you to hire you!
You can ignore for now, unless you already have a job you’re applying for right now, then write a statement about what job you’re trying to get
Add 3 skills you have. Examples include patience, ability to follow directions, quick to learn, punctuality, dependability
If you’ve ever had a job, brag about it here. Be sure to include where you worked, your role/title, what you did, and the approximate dates you worked there
You attended Mariner from Sept 2011 (unless you moved here later) until June 2025
Step 4e – Resume (Page 2 of 3)
In each section, follow the blue instructions
Then click “validate” for each
Have you volunteered at the library, church, the mosque, synagogue, the local food bank, etc? Put it here
Any clubs, sports, or activities you’ve been involved with, through school or elsewehre
If you’ve been an honors students or won other recognition, put it here
If you’ve won any special awards, they go here
If you have been awarded any scholarships, they go here
Step 4e – Resume (Page 3 of 3)
At the top of the page, hover over where it says ‘resume.’ Select “Print/Upload Resume”
On the next page, hover over the far left icon and click on the W symbol. Download the resume
to your computer so you have it for later when you apply for jobs, college, scholarships, etc.

Step 5 – 12th Grade! You’re done!
