What is Jungle Justice?
Jungle justice is the act of a mob taking the law into their own hands by violently punishing suspected criminals without legal trial—often resulting in beatings, lynching, or burning of the accused.
According to Amnesty International, at least 555 deaths from mob violence in 363 documented incidents between January 2012 and August 2023 in Nigeria alone.
