PAWS AND WINGS
RESCUE CENTER
Our missions:
1- To educate the population about endangered species.
2- To provide a habitat for endangered species to live.
Scarlet Macaw
PANDA BEARS
Siberian Tiger
Scarlet macaws are endangered because of
deforestation and poaching.
The shelter helps the scarlet macaw because they have access to tall trees. They also have lakes like in the rainforest. Finally, there are shelters for mothers to have babies.
They are endangered because their habitat is destroyed by humans.
At Paw and Wings we have our own bamboo forest. Panda bears eat bamboo 12 hours a day. Our bamboo forest has many different types of bamboo for pandas to eat all year long. Our oldest panda is 29 years old.
Siberian tigers are endangered by humans and deforestation. Their habitat disappears.
At the shelter, we give them large spaces to move. We also have lakes because they are good swimmers. We also have many trees and they like that.
