Library Information

Each student is allowed to check out 2 books each week, as long as all their books are returned.

Students are responsible for their books once checked out. If damaged or lost a fee will be charged.

Make sure water bottles are closed in backpack, to avoid water damage to books

No food or drink while reading books

Don’t leave books outside

Keep books away from pets

Always keep library books in backpack while not reading them

Library Schedule

Each class visits the library once a week. Their teacher will help students pick out appropriate books. Students are required to choose one book in their reading level and lexile, then they may choose a book of their choice (free book).

All books are due the following week. Students may renew a book if they have not finished it. If books are not returned they are considered overdue.

READING COUNTS

INFORMATION

All Reading Counts books are marked with a red dot and a star that indicated the lexile level.

All Reading Counts books have a label on the first inside page with reading level, lexile level and point amount.

Student have 3 tries to pass a quiz, after the third they are unable to take the quiz again.

Students must wait 24hrs to retake a quiz.

Library News

Reading Counts prizes will start August 22, 2022. Students may start taking quizzes now.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be September 12-16. We will be needing volunteers for daily shopping and Grandparents night. Grandparents night will be September 12. Information will be coming out soon.
