I love making songs but find samples is hard

  • Goal: Trying to build songs
  • process: Looking for samples to construct songs
    • Logic pro not being able to found a specific sample of muic. After messing around in the logic pro softwar I went to splice to check out samples to use it my song. So that I can build off my tacks to experiment on the song while pick and listening what works and doesn’t
  • Problem: it hard to find the specific samples to ft in your song and It takes a long time because searching is really hard
  • Example: Yesterday was looking for a 5 second sample that fit the vibe and so after 40 minutes and reviewing 20 samples I still couldn’t find a sample

Why searching for samples is hard

  • Does it fit with the structure
  • They don’t sound syncied
  • There needs to be some difference in the verse in the course
  • The track have to match with the bpm
  • They all use the same instrument and they change it up
  • I have to listen to another rapper to get inspiration
  • I can’t tell the website what exact theme and beat I want to the song Along with the vibe of the whole song
  • When I hear a beat I don’t like I can’t give the website feedback to show me a correct version
  • The website doesn’t recognize what genre I go to frequently
