After Reading

  • Buddy share, tell a buddy what the reading was about. Summarise this in your own words and share with the person next to you.
  • As a group we will have a discussion about the key ideas we would include in a summary and ideas that don’t need to be included.
    • Why are some ideas more important that others to share when summarising?
    • Why don’t we talk about in word for word?
  • Discussion around vocabulary and also what comprehension questions are and how we are best to answer them.
