VENUS HAS LOTS OF TROUBLE AT HAND

Temperature

475 degrees C°

Pressure

Acidity

About 95 bars

Much more acidic when compared to

the Earth

The Earth’s average temperature is 15 C°.

We can produce electricity more easily from heat.

HOW DOES OUR THERMOELECTRIC GENERATOR WORK ?

The temperature difference between the heating panels and the heatsink increase.

The heating panels heat up due to Venus’s high atmospheric temperature.

The temperature difference between the heatsink and the heating panel causes the thermopile to generate voltage.

The heating panels cool down and the heatsink heats up. The voltage is used to power the systems of the spacecraft.

Thermopile: A thermopile is multiple thermocouples put together in a series circuit
