Isaac Newton
a reclusive genius whose work in mathematics and physics laid the foundations for classical mechanics. His magnum opus, Principia, would later be recognized as one of the most significant works in scientific history. However, before his rise to fame, Newton was relatively unknown outside his circle in Cambridge.
