Vote Implications

What happens if we vote NO?

  • Lose $120M in state funding Higher construction costs from inflation Students stuck in overcrowded, outdated facilities Years more uncertainty and planning

Why Vote YES?

  • Solves Urgent Problems**
    • Ends overcrowding, puts our students in a new building with the modern technology, science labs, and flexible learning spaces they need to learn and succeed.
  • Saves Taxpayer Money**
    • Captures maximum state funding, avoids wasting MILLIONS to repair failing buildings without solving current problems. Tax increases will phase in gradually over 10 years.
  • Protects Our Investment in Education**
    • Enables Lexington to continue providing excellence in education, keeps property values strong.
