CVEC Mission

To provide students a unique educational opportunity to attend both high school and college in a special program environment that will challenge students to excel in their academic and personal endeavors. 

Students will have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and a two-year Associates Degree upon graduation.

  • Opened Fall 2009 as a Stand-Alone Campus
  • Original Partnership included EPCC, Tornillo ISD, and Fort Hancock ISD

  • To date, 321 CVECHS students have graduated with an Associate degree from EPCC before high school graduation

UTEP Greater Texas Foundation ACCELERATED SCHOLARSHIP�The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) after their high school graduations (at which point they become responsible for their own cost of attendance) by (1) a $500 scholarship per semester, for up to 4 semesters, to assist with tuition and fees, and (2) one time $500 – $1,000 awards for access to high-impact practices such as study abroad, professional conference attendance, or internship opportunities.
