The Big Picture
What we were striving for during our project was to create an environment that is clean and beautiful for the people in our community.
Duluth is a beautiful attraction that people from all over the U.S come to see. In order to keep the economy afloat, the beauty must be maintained.

Game Plan
With all of our heads working together, we came up with an idea.
We would clean up the major areas around Duluth and restore the beauty that way.
With many tourists coming and going, trash is very likely to build up around the areas.

During our meetings, we came up with what each person would do and be responsible for.

Places
With some research, we have determined the top places visited in Duluth, MN.
We looked at the top tourist spots and where the population commerced more.

Trash
As we were walking around, we found several pieces of garbage.
Including: bottles, plastic wrappers, masks, glass, cigarette buds, and so much more.

The Canal
We chose to head over to the Canal and start our project.
With Neil being our camera man, we got some excellent shots.

What we found
While walking through the canal, we found tons of trash (reference to slide 7).
The trash build up was mainly around trees and walkways. The most abundant piece of garbage we found were plastic bottles and cigarette buds.

What we learned
Along the way of this journey, we learned so much. There is so much trash around these overpopulated sites, which never seem to be picked up.

What we learned continued..
The trash build up is causing a slowly growing shift in our environment.
The beauty is being diminished as time goes on and the animals are becoming less abundant around these areas.

Our result
In total, we filled three trash bags full of garbage..
We then assorted them for recycling, waste, and glass.
Next we disposed of all the trash properly.
