Achievement level movement

The achievement-level movement helps explain the pattern: Level 3 increased from 19.8% to 23.3%, while Level 4 declined from 29.9% to 27.5% and Level 5 declined from 13.7% to 12.3%. More students are landing at basic proficiency. The goal here is to increase the percentage of students progressing to higher levels of achievement and College and Career Readiness.

What is TSI?

North Carolina reviews previous-year subgroup performance to identify schools that may benefit from additional support and targeted improvement.

Polk County Schools

Four Polk County Schools (TES, PCMS, PCHS, PCMS) are receiving additional support and focused improvement efforts to strengthen outcomes for Students with Disabilities.

School Improvement Plans

School improvement plans will be devised to target resources and identify issues. The state does provide funding to help assist with needed resources at specific levels.
