  • Recognized Student Organization (RSO) advisors should be hold the position “Faculty/Staff Advisor” within the organization’s Engage portal.
  • Once an organization assigns someone to the RSO Faculty/Staff Advisor position, that person should receive an email asking them to “View Workflow”.

RSO Re-Registration: Advisor Responsibilities

  • In addition to assigning an advisor to the RSO Faculty/Staff position, organizations must re-register their organization every academic year.
  • After an organization leader submits a re-registration form, the organization's advisor will receive an email from MU Engage prompting them to review and approve the registration. By following the steps outlined in this powerpoint, advisors will also need to complete the Advisor Agreement Form.
  • The advisor's approval on the registration will act as the advisor's electronic signature verifying and agreeing to the submission details, including the advisor agreement included within the re-registration process.
  • The registration will not be reviewed by the Organization Resource Group (ORG) until the organization's advisor approves the registration.

Failed to Receive Notifications

  • If you fail to receive notifications about reviewing/accepting the organization’s re-registration submission, please do the following:
  • Email the Organization Resource Group (ORG) at studentorgs@missouri.edu about any issues.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

  • Go to engage.missouri.edu
  • Click “SIGN IN” in the upper right hand corner of the screen

  • You will be redirected to the UM System Login page
  • Sign in using your PawPrint and password

  • Select the organization you wish to review in the “My Workflows” section of your profile
    • Click “My Activity” on the left hand side of the screen
    • Click “My Workflows”

  • Each Recognized Student Organizations (that you are an advisor for) re-registration submission will show up on this page

Click on “RSO Re-Registration Approval” to access the submission

Step 5

  • This page will allow you the opportunity to view the submission, request modifications to the submission, and approve/reject the submission.

To review the submission, click “Open Submission”

To Request modifications be made before approval can be granted, click “Requires Modifications”

To Reject the submission, click “Reject”

To Approve the submission, click “I approve”

  • Click “Open Submission” to review the RSO’s submission for re-registration & complete the advisor agreement.

  • Please scroll down to review the submission in its entirety to ensure the information included is accurate.
  • At the bottom of the submission, you will see the “Advisor Agreement” section of the re-registration process.
  • Click “Advisor Agreement Form” to acknowledge your commitment to being a RSO Advisor.

  • Complete and Submit the “Advisor Agreement Form
  • Return back to your workflow page to approve, deny, or require modifications to the RSO’s submission.

  • If you click “Requires Modifications” after reviewing the submission, you will have the opportunity to tell the submitter what should be changed to allow for your approval to be given.

  • Once you have approved the submission, the RSO’s submission will be able to be reviewed by the Organization Resource Group staff.
