Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, we returned from Famara, and our teachers gave us two hours to rest before going out. After entering our room, Argyrw and I worked on our notes ,while Christina was sleeping ,and then we went to the boys’ room, where we played Uno and Liar. About an hour, we went back to our room and, together with Christina, we tidied up a little bit. Then we got ready and went to the hall to wait for everyone to gather. Once we were all together, we started walking to the Open Mall. The walk was a bit long, but it was pleasant and fun.

After twenty minutes of walking, we arrived. The Open Mall was very beautiful. At first, we went shopping to stores such as Zara and Bershka, where we bought gifts for our parents and our siblings. Then we went to a sweet shop with Spanish desserts and tried some of them. After that, we helped a friend choose a gift for his mother and his sister. Later, we visited a bookstore and bought some stationery. Finally, around 5 o’clock, we gathered at the entrance and started heading back to our hotel.

After 20 minutes, we arrived near where we were staying, and because we were hungry, we ate at a restaurant next to our hotel. The food was amazing, but shortly after we finished, it started to get very windy, so we went back to our hotel and waited for it to stop. While we were waiting, the girls and I were zapping through the Spanish TV channels, even though we could hardly understand anything! After half an hour, we were told to go to the lobby, where we sat and waited for the strong wind to stop. After another half hour, it stopped, and we were able to play volleyball with the children from Spain. Time passed pleasantly and quickly.

At around 9:30 p.m., our teachers told us it was time to return to the hotel. However, we asked them if we could all play Uno together at the hotel. So, we played until about 10 p.m. Then we went to our rooms, took a shower, packed our bags for the next day, and called our parents to wish them good night. Unfortunately, though, we were informed that the next day would have very bad weather, as it did, and that it would rain heavily. As a result, everything that had been planned for the next day was canceled. So, a little scared, because we were under an orange weather warning, we went to sleep.

Well…this night didn’t exactly go as planned.

This was a day of free time with us on the magnificent Lanzarote island. It was truly unforgettable, as we learned many fascinating things, filled our minds with beautiful images from the enchanting beach we visited, and gained a wealth of new and meaningful experiences.
