The Idea
If the friction is coming into the library or asking for help, let’s take away that friction with some curated choices.
We have SSR twice a week… a good chance to connect to the kids and get them the things they want.

Personal Deliveries to the Kids
Here’s how it works.
A student fills out a request form with some helpful hints for me. I make a stack of 4-5 books.
We check out (and deliver) them to the Advisor/SSR on Monday or Wednesday.
They have time to look through them and choose one (or more).
They fall in love with reading and do it again.
It’s Not Perfect, But…
So many kids are meeting reading requirements.
This personal attention is getting to even the toughest teens.
It’s a fun way for me to see my collection.
It helps me see what else I need to order.
