Master's Degree in European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact

The Master will provide students with specialised theoretical, methodological and practical training in the field of linguistic and cultural contact between European countries and societies. The master's degree, aimed at graduates of humanities degrees, especially modern philology, has the following general objectives:

  • acquiring in-depth knowledge of the European linguistic and cultural landscape and its societies
  • improving master students' communication skills in multilingual and multicultural environments
  • the development of sensitivity to linguistic and cultural diversity
  • improving learners' intercultural competences for the European labour market
  • the acquisition and implementation of advanced research methods in the academic fields of linguistic and cultural contact and diversity.
