AMiD brings

• Community Advisory Board - CAB, where regions are represented
• The coordination of Work Package 3 - Tuning of Outcomes to European Local Authorities
• Nr.3 Targeted Meetings to be trained on the AMiD Operative Manual
• Funding: to organise and attend the trainings, costs for the CAB, AER staff, ...
• Full involvement and visibility for 3 members:
• Timis County (RO), Generalitat Valenciana (ES) and Värmland County (SE)

FAST Fostering youth pArticipation to deSign the fuTure of Europe 2021-2027

FAST project is about

• Young people will design and promote their visions on the Future of Europe setting the “5 Scenarios from Youth”
• Young people will engage and challenge Euro-scepticism and
• to raise awareness on Future of Europe and the 2019 European Elections.

Why FAST project?

Because AER built it hand in hand with Region Grand Est (FR)

European affairs

• Grand Est idea:

to play a role in the coming EU

elections

• AER started looking for potential funding opportunities

...and we found “Europe for citizens”

could fit the job!

• Benchmarking: avoid duplication, being inspired

The consortium

What AER members on board?

Not easy to chose among 150 members…

​

We set criteria:

• members working on youth and active citizenship
• how many for a budget of € 150.000
• geographical balance
• being different from the other applications

​

Meeting with the national contact point:

• organised by AER
• to have a first feedback on the idea
• to ask questions, especially on the form
• to listen for tips and suggestions

FAST project will be

• 3 regions and 1 programme engaged:

Grand Est (FR), Umbria (IT), Vojvodina

(RS) plus YRN-Youth Regional Network

• 5 Scenarios from the Youth
• “My Europe in 180 seconds” videos
• A contest as a TED talk format
• The “Parlement Européen des Jeunes”
