Working Progress 2020 - 2021

  • The Committee has a process that ensures discussions were open and thorough
  • The meetings were held at least once a month and whenever necessary at the request of the Executive Board and/or the Secretary General and/or other Committees.
  • The L&CC worked together with the Tribunal, the Audit, Risk and Integrity Committee, the Technical Committee, the Athletes Committee and the Credentials Committee, the National Federations Services & Development
  • All the meetings were open to the Executive Board liaison member, Secretary General and the staff liaison in charge of legal affairs
  • Open discussions giving a voice to everyone
  • Variety of views expressed coming from various legal backgrounds

  • The resolution is impracticable because the proposed committee would largely have the same role as the Credentials Committee: and
  • the resolution would create major contradictions between several articles of the World Triathlon Constitution.
  • The L&CC recommends not to promote this resolution.�
  • However, the L&CC planned to start the Working Group on ‘election and pre-election procedures’ next season.
  • The Danish NF will be invited to the WGp and we can include their concerns in the second resolution together with their concerns of the first resolution.
