Math: We will start a new unit on balancing equations and finding missing addends.
Homework: workbk pgs. 267-270
Reading: We will read fictional stories to determine the lesson, central idea and moral in stories.
Writing: We will continue with our persuasive writing unit.
Word Study: We will be learning about the vowel teams oa, ow, and oe that make the long /o/ sound in words like: toe, grow, and boat. We will also learn ie and igh making the long /i/ sound in words like pie, high, night.
Social Studies: We will continue with our economics unit, talking about goods and services.
