Step 1

Pick 3 threads of any colour. Measure each thread to approximately 60 inches.

Step 2

Line all 3 threads up with each other and fold them in half. Then, create a knot on the end of thread that was folded.

Step 3

Tape the knot to a flat surface, and spread each individual thread out. One side of the threads should mirror the other. For example, green, purple, blue | blue, purple, green (as shown in the photo).

Take the outermost thread (green) on one half of the bracelet, and loop it around the thread next to it (purple). Then pull on the outermost (green) thread until a knot is created at the top of the bracelet. You should repeat this step twice.

Now you should flip the first (green) and second (purple) thread, so that the second (purple) thread is now the outermost thread.

Create another knot between the first (green) and third (blue) thread.

Step 7

Repeat steps 4-6 on the other half of the bracelet. Now both of the first (green) threads should be in the middle. Knot the 2 middle threads twice and switch them.

Step 9

Repeat steps 4-7 and a chevron pattern should begin to form. Continue knotting the thread until the bracelet fully wraps around your wrist.

Step 9

Finish off the bracelet by tying a knot at the end of chevron, and tying the 2 ends of the bracelet together to fit your wrists. Cut off any excess thread.
