Extension Activity

You may choose any one of these options and make your own, or a joint family project. If you have older siblings you may choose to do one of the activities in the other presentations as well.

Option 1: Make a coral reef out of anything you can find in your home, you can also go outside and find materials in nature or even food/legos/toys (and be sure to add some fish!). If you have PlayDoh or a cardboard egg carton, it makes a nice base.

Option 2: Make a boat out of recyclable materials that is strong enough to hold a stick of butter. Try to float it in your bathtub or sink!

Option 3: Make a 3-D model of an animal that you would find in the ocean.
