PTA is selling Nifty Fifty Papa John cards. Each card is $10, with $8 coming back to the OLE PTA. Each card can be used 18 times for 50% off your entire order - takeout or delivery. They can be used anywhere in the Twin Cities!

The Carnival is coming!!

This annual tradition of fun and games is on Friday, February 24th this year from 5:30-8:30. There will be carnival games, food, mini donuts, fun prizes, face painting and Stripes!

Posters Due: Friday, February 24

There is a poster contest, early ticket sales and more!

Look for a flyer or check our facebook page for more details.

Pop Bottles Due: Noon on Friday, February 24

Looking for 2 liter pop bottle donations for the infamous Pop Ring Toss game. The grade level that brings the most pop bottles, wins a popcorn party!

We also need volunteers!

- Strategic plan draft of plan to Board in April or May

- Legislative Update on Education Bills highlights Free lunches & Increase $ per pupil. Information will be shared on the BPS website.

Community Relations Report - Rick

- Food Drive Prep. 50k lb. goal for Total of BPS locations and Business Partners. 2022 had 40k goal and reached 49171 lbs.

- SAVE THE DATE: April 17-21st Food Drive

- Business Partner - I'm going to meet with a new partner. Last year business partner handed, had zero donations.

Principal Report - Mr Cantu

- Middle School(Jr High) nights - already passed.

Special Topic Guest - Sarah Moline

- Early Childhood & Preschool SAFARI Program Design. 6:30 open -6:00 close.

- Staff needed

- Register ASAP. ELS open 3/13 & SAFRAI 4/17

Our next PTSA meeting is at City Hall. Special Topic will be Summer Plan for kids.

New Business: Yearbook

5th Grade Baby Pictures

The yearbook committee needs pictures of your student and their classmates!! First day of school, field trips, Kinder Friday Stations, school dance, read a thon events, students with Teachers/staff or Stripes...all are welcome and we need pictures from all classrooms and events!! The best way for your kids to see pictures of themselves and their friends in the yearbook is by YOU sending them in!

5th grade parents please send in your students baby pictures.
