0xC2 OEM Record – Flex I/O

• Should cards support both RBT and Flex I/O?
• If yes, how is selecting one interface over the other supported today?
• OEM Command required (as of today)
• OEM Record 0xC2 offset 4 is ambiguous
• If both interfaces are available, which is the default?
• (If no 0xC2 record, default is RBT, need clarification point added)

Suggestion:

• Today: OCP NIC 3.0 cards can only support RBT or Flex I/O, not both as selectable interfaces on the same card implementation.
• Future: If PCIe-MI (or another mechanism) is implemented, the interface may be able to be selected in early boot.

Thermal Workstream Update

• Thermal workstream will meet every other Thursday at 9am PST
