Dear Red and Poncle

Please, I’m begging you to make this Crossover

Main Terrarian Survivor Character Concepts

Terrarian Characters are broken into each of the four classes, and have a built in Skull O’Maniac that doesn’t take up a passive item slot, and enhances a specific stat. In multiplayer, any player can add a level to the shared Skull.. Terrarian Characters and their weapons are able to Evolve twice, from Pre-Hardmode to Hardmode forms once their Skull is maxed out, and from hardmode to Post-Lunar with a specific item per Class. With all four weapons, you may be able to earn a special item called Zenith, which fits in a free slot like Sole Solution.

The Melee Class

The Best Offense is a Good Defense!

The Melee Class is a fan favorite among the four beloved classes, and is the most durable as well. The Melee Terrarian would gain +2 Armor Per Skull level, up to +10 at Level 5. Scaling up Armor allows the Melee Terrarian to deal high damage up close with the actual Blade of the weapon, rewarding you for closing the gap.

Swing in an arc in front of you, creating explosions on hit that scale with Armor.

Volcano

Terra Blade

Swing in an arc in front of you, throwing energy blades that scale with Armor.

Solar Eruption

Slash wildly across the screen, creating Solar Explosions that scale with Armor and ignite enemies.

4 of 24

The Ranged Class

The Ranged Class specializes in high DPS, high fire rate, high projectile speed, and high crit chance. What other weapon subclass to choose for blistering DPS than the Gun? The Ranged Terrarian gains -5% Cooldown per Skull level, up to -25% at level 5. This helps the Ranged Terrarian output huge amounts of Damage, especially when combined with Luck for Critical Hits and Might for Damage.

Fire a handgun, dealing heavy damage to the first target hit. Small chance for a Critical Hit.

Handgun

Venus Magnum

Fire the Magnum, dealing heavy damage to up to three targets as the bullet pierces through. Enhanced Critical Hit chance.

Vortex Beater

Unleash a barrage of bullets, accelerating over a Duration dependent time. Chance to fire a high damage Rocket, Very High Crit Chance.

The Magic Class

Mind over Matter!

The Magic class has some of the highest damage weapons in Terraria, at the cost of being relatively fragile. There are a plethora of strange and unique magic weapons available, from laser blasting Space Guns, to the boulder chucking Earth Staff, but nothing beats a staff that aims for you. With each level of the Skull, the Magic Terrarian gains 10% Might.

Fire a fast homing projectile forward that generates a small explosion after hitting an enemy.

Magic Missile

Spectre Staff

Fire a spooky homing projectile forward that damages up to three enemies. Each hit fires an additional projectile at a nearby enemy.

Nebula Arcanum

Fire a large, slow, homing orb forward. Smaller orbs the main projectile. After hitting three enemies, the main Orb explodes into shrapnel.

The Summon Class

I Choose You!

The Summon Class, unique for its ability to deal high damage almost passively, is balanced by its low durability, and special stat needs. Ever wanted to assault hordes of zombies with a flock of baby birds? Then this class is meant for you! Uniquely, these projectiles are persistent, sticking around even after hitting many enemies. The Summoner Terrarian gains +1 Amount per Skull Level, but starts with less Might to balance this. If you hit an enemy with the Whip, Vento Sacro or any of their evolutions, your summoned minions will focus on that enemy!

You are accompanied by a small bird that bounces off of enemies. This bird fights tirelessly to protect you.

Finch Staff

Raven Staff

You are accompanied by a Raven that tears through enemies foolish enough to come close. Do you think they’ll try that again? Quoth the Raven, “Nevermore!”

Stardust Dragon Staff

Summon a single huge dragon, with a number of segments increasing based on amount. The dragon rips through enemies at high speed, dealing damage with each segment.

Other Terraria Character Concepts

Terraria has a whole cast of interesting and iconic characters and creatures to draw from, and many of them would be great options as additional characters, with unlock requirements similar to the ones in their original game. Each additional Character will have a unique weapon and evolution, linking them to related bosses and biomes. Each final weapon and character evolution can be unlocked at 100000 kills.

The Guide

You should stay indoors at night. It is very dangerous to be wandering around in the dark.

The Guide is the first NPC a player will meet when they start their terraria experience, but he holds a dark secret. In Terraria, if the Guide is killed by lava while you are in the Underworld, the Wall of Flesh will race across the fields of fire and lava to accost the player. The Guide is unlocked by starting a run in the Terraria map as a Terrarian.

The Dryad

You must cleanse the world of this corruption.

The Dryad is your first sign of real progression in Terraria, since she will only show after you have defeated at least one boss. She defends the world from corruption, and herself from damage with natural magic. Without the Dryad around, Terraria would surely fall to evil. You would unlock her by defeating a boss.

Dryad’s Blessing

Chlorophyte Gen

A gem above your head fires beams of energy at nearby foes. Keeps previous function as well.

My soul feels torn here in the Dungeon, as if my very being is at war between good and evil.

The Old Man, also known as the Clothier, is cursed to live in isolation. He is tied to Skeletron, the Guardian of the Dungeon, and can only be free once it is defeated. His soul is still part the Dungeon, however, and Skeletron is still a part of him. To unlock the Clothier, find and defeat Skeletron in the Terraria Map.

The Old Man throws Homing Skulls forward that explode at the end of their path. Scales with Curse.

The Witch Doctor

The heart of magic is nature. The nature of hearts is magic.

The Witch Doctor, resident of the Jungle, is of the Lizahrd Race, ancient recluses of the undergrowth. He helps the player by providing the means to buff up summoning weapons and apply debuffs. Just like in the original game, defeat Queen Bee in the Jungle section to unlock him.

The Slime

Boing… Boing… Boing…

The Slime is a simple enemy, throwing itself at you to deal damage. These creatures are essential to gameplay due to the amount of Gel used throughout different crafting recipes, and as such, players kill up to thousands per playthrough. Defeat one of every slime, including King and Queen, in order to unlock it.

Hop in the direction you are holding, doing a small area of damage upon landing. Damage scales with move speed.

Slime

King Slime

Become larger, dealing more damage in a bigger area. Retaliate by releasing smaller slimes.

13 of 24

The Crimera

Representing the Crimson Biome

The Crimson is an abomination, life twisted into horrible gore and monsters. The Crimera, Floaty Gross, and Ultimately, Brain of Cthuluhu represent the twisting of the world, as flesh shifts into abhorrent shapes. Unlock the Crimera by defeating the Brain of Cthulhu in a run, after Unlocking the Slime.

14 of 24

The Eater of Souls

Representing the Corruption Biome

The Corruption is a realm of sickness and decay, a viral plane of living death. The Eater of souls, Devourer, and ultimately the Destroyer represent the decay of the world, as life crumbles to food for the worms. Unlock the Eater by defeating The Destroyer in a run, after unlocking the Slime.

Throw rotten chunks at enemies, dealing damage scaling with Max Health.

Eater of Souls

Summon smaller worms that have a chance to steal hearts.

Ideas for the Level

  • Like the game Terraria, The Terraria level would “generate” with two Crimson or Corruption Biomes on startup, probably implemented as two different levels on a 50/50 selector.

  • After doing a run, you can select Crimson or Corruption, or leave it random.

  • Upon fully leveling up a Skull O’Maniac, or defeating the Wall of Flesh in the “Underworld” section of the map, the level tuns to “Hardmode,” replacing one of the two Crimson/Corruption areas with the Hallow.

  • Like other DLC Maps, Special bosses spawn near points of interest and Items, corresponding to Biomes in this case.

16 of 24

The Pixie

Representing the Hallow Biome

The Hallow is an oppressive light, seeking to destroy any that do not shine like it does. The Pixie, Unicorn, and ultimately the Empress of Light represent the searing light, as what should protect now destroys. Unlock the Pixie by defeating the Empress of Light in a run, after unlocking the Slime, and evolving to the Guide’s final form.

Leave behind trails of Pixie dust that damage enemies, scaling with Luck.

Pixie

Unicorn

Summon stampeding Unicorns that leave rainbow trails on screen. Chance to summon light sources.

Empress of Light

Gain massive Might, and summon beams of light to damage enemies. Retaliate by summoning the Terraprisma to whirl around you after taking damage.

Terraria’s Share

As with other similar crossovers, Terraria would pick up a few items or weapons from the other game. It could also be possible to have Antonio or Imelda Belpaese appear as an NPC, with a wave event similar to Great Old One’s Army.

18 of 24

The Melee Weapons

The Cross, a high critical chance boomerang weapon. It can be found by defeating Gains Boros, either in Hell, or in the possible Vampiric Army event. It would be upgraded to the Heaven Sword with Souls of Might, gaining massive damage and crit chance.

19 of 24

The Ranged Weapons

Phiera du Tuphello and Eight the Sparrow are ranged weapons that, respectively, inflict the On Fire! and Frostbite Debuff, and can be found after defeating Gyorunton either on a Sky Island, or in the Vampiric Army Wave event. The two may be combined with each other into the Phieraggi using Souls of Sight, becoming a wide beam of energy when fired.

20 of 24

The Magic Weapons

The Magic Wand is a high fire rate Magic weapon that gains more fire rate as you channel it. It can be found by defeating Leda in the Dungeon, or in the Vampiric Army Wave event. It is upgraded into the Holy Wand using Souls of Fright.

21 of 24

The Summon Weapons

Peachone and Ebony Wings are a pair of summons who do more damage together, with explosive projectiles. They can be found by defeating Smith, a rare ghost enemy, Found in the Jungle or during the Vampiric Army Wave event. Using Souls of Light and Night, they can be combined into Vandalier, a much more powerful summon whose explosive projectiles deal more damage based on minion slots used.

The Bloody Tear is a Whip that has summon tags that can crit, and the player is healed by a small amount for each successful Crit. It can be found by defeating Minnah during a full moon, or during the Vampiric Army Wave event. It can be upgraded with Hallowed Bars into the Fuwalafuwaloo, with much higher damage, and an explosion on crit.

Thank you for your time!

I know that this going anywhere, let alone a full collaboration, is a long shot, but to anybody who has sat through this whole slideshow, I appreciate your patience and consideration.

Specifically for Andrew “Redigit” Spinks and Luca “Poncle” Galante, if this somehow gets to y’all, I appreciate the time, effort, and love you both put into your games and communities. You’ve given me, my wife, and my friends something to bond over and have fun with, and there isn’t anything I could say that could express my gratitude for the memories you both helped create.

Thanks for Reading!
