User research: summary

I began the research process with the goal of understanding how users typically book their tickets, what type of cinema experience they describe as ideal, and what challenges they face.

I conducted one on one interviews with 4 users. I chose some of my friends who had different cinematic tastes: some were occasional viewers, some were regular viewers.

Based on the user interviews, I developed two user personas to identify and contrast their needs, behaviors and challenges. Based on the user interviews, I was able to understand the process users followed to book a ticket and watch a movie in the theater.

Paper wireframe

screen size variation(s)

The best parts of each variation was then composed into a single screen
