My Love

$1600

2019

The Volcano is representative of myself in my youth, bottling up my emotions until they exploded, erupted, all at once. In that same light, back then, that’s how I “loved.” Stifling myself to make other happy, until I no longer could.

You

$800

2018

If you’re thinking what I was thinking when I finished this piece: it was supposed to look like water falling from the hands, unable to grasp at the word “You” which represents the artists love interest.

“Angst”

$1600

2019

This piece was made at the height of my frustration with myself and my art. The line work done randomly in organic lines and colored with also random and less than desired color choices. In the end however, finishing the piece brought a sense of relief, and I feel that relief again when I look at this drawing.

Enlightenment

$400

2019

The Trident, the symbol of Enlightenment like a thunderbolt pierces darkness. This piece inspires me to continue to move forward, even when the path you walk is unknown.
