Safety
CEB Press shaker assembly steps
1. Weld s01, s02, and s04 together at once.
Note 1: Place the s02 on a flat surface and make sure side A of s04 is flesh with the surface of s01; side B of s04 with s02, with the edge of s01 sitting on top of the edge of s02. The ends of s01 and s02 should line up with each other and s04 should be centered.
Note 2: begin with partial weld
Note 3: grind parts that connect to other pieces to make them flat

4. weld shaft (s08) to hammer (s06 and s07)
Note: s08 should stick out a ¼” from s06 (The image is wrong, because s08 sits inside s06 a ¼”. Follow the written instructions.)

6. Loosely attach the collars (not depicted in FreeCAD graphics) to one side of s16a and one side of s16b, tighten with allen wrench
Note 1: The holes on each collar should be aligned with the holes on the other.
Note 2: Bearing collars prevent the shaft from slipping horizontally. The key (which will be put in later) prevents it from turning. The coupler (which will be slipped on after the hammer shaft is slipped in) holds the two shafts together using the key and collars.
Note 3: The instructions for installing collars, bearings and the shaft on this webpage go in a slightly different order than the instructions we provide for installing these items on the CEB Press shaker, but looking at it might still be helpful: http://www.amibearings.com/mounting-instructions.html

Partial Welding
Partial weld parts when instructed
This is done so that the pieces won't move/warp as the metal cools.
To partial weld, start by welding tacks where each black circle is.
Then weld 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100% of the remaining space you’re welding.
