CURRICULUM
SPRING TERM 2024
This booklet is designed to provide parents and carers with an insight into some of the learning that the children will be undertaking in the Spring term. We believe that some learning beyond the school day can help all our children learn and remember more. We think that some time working alongside a parent or carer can have a really positive impact on our children’s progress.

RECEPTION WIDER LEARNING
We can all deepen our learning about the topics we are learning about in class by reading books or completing research using appropriate websites.
Tapestry Project
This half term one of the professions we have been learning about is the dentist and we have been learning about good dental hygiene. Please watch the video clip below and then take a video of your child brushing their teeth. Talk to your child about how to brush their teeth correctly and the foods they should be eating to ensure their teeth stay healthy.

RECEPTION RELIGION
There are lots of ways to pray, and formal prayer is one of the ways that we can talk and listen to what God has to say to us. This prayer is one that you might want to learn and say as a family.
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.Amen.
