Development and Motivation

Most vehicles are indicated deceleration by brake lights , without being able to distinguish between regular brake" or "emergency brake". In the event of an emergency situation , driver can only turn on the warning light manually to alert the drivers behind. However, by the time the driver completes this action, several seconds have already passed.

According to research findings, at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, every one-second delay in braking can result in an additional 22.2 meters of distance, increasing the likelihood of rear-end collisions.

Installing a warning system that can "proactively" and “immediately" alert other drivers there is emergency situation in front of them so as to reduce accidents
