Remove these 4 screws

Pull out the cover

Unplug these 2 connectors

Push these two tabs outwards,

the connector will pop out

Unplugging this connector is a little bit harder.

To do so, press this white tab (red arrow) on the left side and pull gently but firmly upwards

Most likely you have to introduce your hand inside as shown in the picture

With both connectors unplugged you can move to the right side

Repeat the process, remove the 4 screws and pull the cover out

Remove this cover, it is on the right side of the rear bed.

It is magnetized so no screws involved. Rotate it and it will easily come out.

Remove the carriage.

Unboxing and setting up a Kniterate

Now let’s separate the top block from the bottom one.

The last thing that keeps them together are these 4 screws indicated with the red arrows

Remove them four completely.

Now, the difficult part. 4 people min are required, one on each handle (2 on each side of the machine).

You’ll have to lift it up vertically around 25 cm from where it is sitting to clear the rollers (above the green line).

Separation is complete. The machine can now be moved in modules

When putting the top block back on top of the bottom one, make sure the yellow cylinder lines up with the tapped hole in the pink structure.

Slide the top block gently to line up the four holes

When putting them back, don’t tighten them too much, otherwise the rubber washer will break. Stop tightening as soon as you feel there is a bit of resistance and the washer gets a bit squeezed

Reverse the process from slide 14 backwards to reassemble the machine
