Conclusions

  • Creative skills, including metacognition and being able to consider issues from other perspectives (e.g. design thinking), will continue to be crucial areas of growth.
  • These skills are often not taught in traditional education.
  • It is possible, with thoughtful learning design, to teach these skills in an online format.
