1 credit = 1 year so .5 credit = 1 semester

FAQs

What classes may be offered during 0 period?

Jazz Band, Yearbook, Weight Training, AP Spanish, AP Statistics, AP Pre-Calculus, ASB Leadership

I did the Honors option for English first semester- when does the H go on my transcript?

Please contact your counselor & English teacher if you feel you should have received an honors designation for 9th and/or 10th grade English. This is noted on your transcript with an ‘H’ under the “Course Designation” column.

Prerequisite questions- You must take those classes before you can take the class (ex: need to have taken Bio, Chem, and Alg II [or in Alg II concurrently] for AP Bio and AP Chem)

CCS Credit?- This is general elective credit. As a freshman, you will earn 1.0 CCS elective credit by the end of senior year.

World Language/Math Credits from Woodward/Odyssey on BHS Transcript?

Students from Woodward/Odyssey will automatically have their world language and high school level math credits on their transcript. Students have until the end of their junior year to remove these credits from their transcript if they wish. Forms are in the counseling office.

PE Waivers- What is it? How does it work?

Up to two PE courses can be waived through participation in a BHS Athletics (BHS Club sports are included). Student must take a full schedule, 6 class every semester to qualify. Waivers are granted spring semester Senior year. PE waivers DO NOT = credit
