The verb pensar
Means to think. When it is followed by que, it means “to think that..”
Pienso que los invitados van a hablar y bailar toda la noche.
I think that the guests are going to talk and dance all night.

In the present tense pensar is an e-ie stem changing verb. It is a regular verb in the pretérito.
Use the verb pensar in the present tense followed by an infinitive to say what someone plans or intends to do.
