ATC Procedures During The Suspension of Simultaneous Independent Parallel Departures:

Two Runways

are in use for departures.

Current Procedures

Proposed Procedures

KLIA ADC may clear the next departing aircraft for takeoff from a different runway at 3,000FT altitude, once the preceding departing aircraft reaches 3,500FT altitude.

KLIA ADC may issue take off clearance for the next aircraft from a different runway with initial level of 3,000 feet once the previous departing aircraft has surpassed this altitude.

If the subsequent aircraft departs from the same runway, a 90-second separation between the preceding and succeeding aircraft shall be applied by the KLIA ADC, except when the preceding aircraft is assigned a loop SID.

If the subsequent aircraft departs from the same runway, a 60-second separation between the preceding and succeeding aircraft shall be applied by the KLIA ADC, except when the preceding aircraft is assigned a loop SID.

If the preceding departing aircraft is assigned a loop SID, the succeeding aircraft departing from any runway shall be allowed to take off with an initial altitude of 3,000ft when it is observed that the preceding departing aircraft has passed 4,000ft.

If the preceding departing aircraft is assigned a loop SID, subsequent aircraft, whether not doing the loop or using a different runway, must observe a 60-second separation.
