Week 3: April 13-17
Distance Learning
Grade 2
2019-2020 School Year
Hello Second Grade Parents!
We hope you are all doing well and are staying safe and healthy!
The second grade teachers have created these activities for your child to complete during this time. It is important to note that these are optional but valuable skills for your child to practice. If you’re able to complete all activities, great! If you’re able to complete a few, great! If you aren’t able to complete any for the day, don’t worry! Per instructions from the DOE, these are enrichment activities and opportunities for your child to apply concepts that we have covered thus far this school year.
Because these are enrichment activities, we will not be collecting any work from your child. Therefore, if your child is not able to complete certain activities, he or she will not be penalized.
We also understand that the type(s) of device(s) that each student has available to him or her differs with each family, so we are providing various options with the hope that at least some of the options offered will be compatible with the device you have for your child. Please do not go out and purchase a new device; just make do with what you have at home.
Please remember… we are here for you and your child. We hope that these resources and tools will help your child to maintain and build on the skills they have learned over the past three quarters this year.
We thank you for your continued support!
Good Morning
Second Graders!
