The Glenayre Executive would like to offer an opportunity for you and members of your family to become more involved as we continue to create events, programs and community opportunities that will ensure we continue the legacy of community built over half a century by neighbours like you.
In the coming months we’ll be reviewing our calendar of events and how we give back to the Glenayre Community. To help us on this path, we are calling out for volunteers for the following immediate volunteer positions:
Membership/distribution management: collecting and managing the list of neighbours and contact information that is comfortable to them
Communications: assist with documenting our story; create reusable communications material for our events, promote events and community communication through various communications channels (Newsletter, Website, Facebook, etc.)
Executive administrative assistant: includes documentation management and other organizational activities.
General event support: for the events hosted by the Glenayre Community Association and other events.
These positions are available to anyone in the neighbourhood that is interested building their resume or lending us their experience. They are also ideal for young adults and students that would like to gain skills in database management, communications, project management, administration, etc. The skills used and gained from these experiences can be included in resumes and can be part of a development plan. We will gladly provide recommendations and reviews to support the candidate’s development plan.
